INA has introduced a new method to confirm the service life

The further calculation of amended rating life. The basis of the rating life’s calculation is consistent with the ISO281, is Lundberg and Palmgren fatigue theory, and the theory is usually given a final value of the rating life.
However, in good condition of running, modern high-quality bearings’ life can be greatly exceeded the life by the ISO281 calculated.
In order to provide a more accurate calculation of the rating life, we should consider other factors in the basic rating life calculation, such as the effect of lubrication and pollution, the impact of improved materials.
Inannides and Harris has proposed a deeper level model about rolling contact fatigue .This model extends the theory of Lundberg / Palmgren. Although the method has not yet been adopted as a standard, but it can be seen as the current theoretical research level.
INA adopted this approach and combine it with their own expertise and experience . It is based on: the same with the SKF method of rating life calcualtion.
The calculation methodof main rolling bearing manufacturer can be compared with this method or to give similar results.
